Children & Youth
The Resource Center provides a range of services for children and youth, from screening young children for possible developmental delays to assisting teen-agers and families as they prepare to transition from school to the adult world.
If an assessment indicates a child has a developmental delay, TRC offers a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at getting children back online developmentally. The agency also works with the parents of children of any age to help address challenging behaviors. TRC assists parents in understanding what services they and their children are entitled to receive. In school settings, the agency works with teachers to develop appropriate instructional methods for special-needs children, and TRC serves as a link between school and parents to help ensure that issues addressed in school are followed up at home, and vice versa.
