How you can help

Working together, TRC Foundation and The Resource Center are Making a Difference in People’s Lives. But there’s more work to be done, and we can’t do it alone. We invite you to support our efforts.

Make a Donation

A cash donation helps build TRC Foundation’s endowment, ensuring that critically needed funds will be available to support individuals with disabling conditions. And donations to TRC Foundation entitle you to become a member of The Resource Center. And membership has its benefits – area businesses who support our mission offer discounts to TRC members.

Operating Shortfalls

In 2008, The Resource Center experienced operating deficits totaling $2.3 million in the following areas: Diagnostic & Treatment Services, Mental Health Services, Day Services for people with developmental disabilities, Transportation, Work Center operations, and Services for Children and Youth. These deficits result from TRC’s commitment to support individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Click here if you would like to make a contribution to offset TRC’s operating deficits.

Make a Planned Gift

Many people would like to support TRC Foundation’s mission with a substantial gift, but they worry about relinquishing the income those assets generate, A Charitable Gift Annuity enables you to make a generous gift to TRC Foundation while providing you and/or another chosen individual with a high, fixed, guaranteed income for life. For information about Charitable Gift Annuities and other forms of Planned Giving, contact Karen LaSota, Resource Development, Research and Grants Coordinator, at (716) 661-1518 or karen.lasota@resourcecenter.org
