August 2016 – Todd Frangione, left, Director of Business Operations for The Resource Center, and Kate Piazza, middle, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County, pose with Dr. Gordon Wuebbolt, M.D., Community EyeCare Specialists founder, just before taking off in a helicopter before the 3rd Annual Copter Drop event.
As he did in 2014 and 2015, Dr. Wuebbolt generously donated the use of his helicopter and piloting skills for this year’s Annual Copter Drop event held at Shorewood Country Club. The 3rd Annual Copter Drop fund-raiser netted close to $2,500 which was distributed evenly between The Resource Center and the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County. Extra special thanks to the many people who purchased golf balls to make this event a huge success!
230 numbered golf balls were released from a hovering helicopter at Shorewood Country Club; prize money was paid based on which balls came to rest closest to three designated holes. The committee is hard at work on planning next year’s exciting event.
